- ေခါင္းေအးေအးထားၿပီး ေျဖရွင္းတယ္ - play it cool
(1) I decided to play it cool rather than letting her know my real feelings.
ငါ အမွန္တစ္ကယ္ ခံစားေနရတာေတြကို သူမကို ေပးသိမွာထက္ ေခါင္းေအးေအးထားၿပီး ငါ ေျဖရွင္းဖို႔ ဆံုးျဖစ္လိုက္တယ္။
(2) It’s ridiculous to play it cool if someone you’re mad about is mad about you too.
တကယ္လို႔ မင္းက တမ္းတမ္းစြဲ ျဖစ္ေနတဲ့ တစ္စံုတစ္ေယာက္ေသာ သူဟာ မင္းကိုလည္း တမ္းတမ္းစြဲ အရူးအမူး ျဖစ္ေနတယ္ ဆိုရင္ ဒါကို ေခါင္းေအးေအး ထားၿပီး ေျဖရွင္းဖို႔ မျဖစ္ႏိုင္ဘူးနဲ႔ တူတယ္။
(3) You should play it cool whatever you do.
မင္း ဘာပဲ လုပ္လုပ္ ေခါင္းေအးေအးထားၿပီးမွ လုပ္သင့္တာေပါ့။

- စီမံကိန္း အေကာင္အထည္ေဖာ္တယ္/ တိုက္ပြဲ ၀င္တယ္ - into action
(1) The new plan for traffic control is being put into action on an experimental basis.
ယာဥ္ အသြားအလာကို ထိန္းခ်ဳပ္ဖို႔အတြက္ အစီအစဥ္သစ္ကို ေလ့လာစမ္းသပ္မႈ အေပၚမွာ အေျခခံၿပီး အေကာင္အထည္ ေဖာ္ေဆာင္ေနၾကတယ္။
(2) At daybreak the troops went into action.
နံနက္ အရုဏ္ဦးမွာ စစ္ေၾကာင္းေတြဟာ တိုက္ပြဲစတင္ ခဲ့ၾကတယ္။
(3) They have learned the lessons of business management theory, and put them into action.
သူတို႔ေတြဟာ စီးပြားေရး ခန္႔ခြဲမႈပညာ သီအိုရီသင္ခန္းစာေတြကို သင္ယူၿပီးတဲ့ေနာက္မွာ အဲဒီ ပညာေတြကို အေကာင္အထည္ ေဖာ္ၾကတယ္။

- စိတ္၀င္စားမႈ မရွိေတာ့ေခ်၊ စိတ္ကုန္သြားၿပီ - lose interest
(1) He used to be very active in smoking, but he’s lost interest now.

သူက ေဆးလိပ္ေသာက္တဲ့ ေနရာမွာ သိပ္ကို တက္ၾကြတာ၊ ဒါေပမဲ့ အခုေတာ့ စိတ္ကုန္သြားၿပီ။
(2) By that time, I had lost interest in the idea.
အဲဒီ အခ်ိန္လည္း ေရာက္ေရာ ငါ အဲဒီ အႀကံအစည္ေတြကို စိတ္၀င္စားမႈ မရွိေတာ့ဘူး။
(3) I have lost interest in my husband because of his drinking very much.
ငါ့ ေယာက်္ားက အရက္ကို အလြန္အကၽြံေသာက္ေတာ့ ငါ စိတ္ကုန္သြားၿပီ။
